    update

After a long talk with my mother i feel much better. I know that I am right now where I am. Profound I know. I can't change that. I also know that I don't make good decisions under stress. So it's looks as though I am going to at least attempt to finish my degree here at SWBTS then see what the Lord has for me!

    Big changes?

Well life is good for the most part in DFW... well it's ok...

Outside of school I am really enjoying my time here in the Fort Worth area. I have made a ton of new friends and have found a great church. Unfortunately that is where it all just about ends.

I was not ready for school this semester at all. Looking back, I can see that Seminary was a last resort so to speak. When I cam back to JMAN conference I had no idea what to do. My obvious choice was Seminary. I didn't pray about it at all... it just felt like the right thing to do. Here I am 5 months later, wondering if I made the right decision at all. I know that God works out all things for good and this experience has had it's up sides (2nd paragraph). I am behind in one of my classes by quite a bit (to far to catch up for midterm). I am contemplating dropping it but it would put me below full time status which would affect my possible scholarships next semester. It would also have some affect on my current student loans.

Next semester is a big concern right now, namely whether or not I am going to return to take classes in the spring. Looking back (hindsight is always 20/20 i know) I should have taken a year off when JMAN didn't work out. Having said that I am entertaining the possibility of returning to Longview at the end of the semester to take at least a semester off if not a whole year to clear my head and reset.

I also am seriously praying about re-applying to JMAN. I have really begun to find my passion while here. It is (you guessed it) Photography! I love taking pictures, and telling stories with pictures. I recently looked at the list of field needs of missionaries. There are two different request for JMEN/journeygirls that have peek my interest. They are in need of a photographer in West Africa and a Media Consultant in Southern Mexico to help the American and Mexican missionaries tell the rest of the world what is going on in their work.

As you can see I have many things on weighing on my mind and heart (along with midterms this week). Please for direct, undeniable, quick guidance for me in these next few weeks!
